Biblical Worldview Crisis Continues in the Body of Christ
The Barna Group has tracked American culture and the Church in regards to biblical worldview issues for years and trends are not encouraging. Americans, and sadly born-again believers, are critically lacking in the basic tenets of the Christian faith. The Church must take action to reverse this trend.
Jesus said, "Go and make disciples... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." How are we doing in regards to this Great Commission? Sadly, studies show that their is a worldview crisis in the Church and it is negatively impacting how Christians behave.
In the year 2000, 10% of all adult American's had a biblical worldview and of born-again believers, it was only 22%. In 2009 those figures have dropped to 9% and 19% respectively.
