Lack of Apologetics a Key Reason Why Christians Stumble
Statistics show that between 60-80% of young people will leave the church when they leave home. Many experts have expressed concern about the next generation. David Kinnaman of the Barna Group recently said,
in You Lost Me: “Young people are skeptical
about the reliability of the original biblical manuscripts; they tend to read
the Bible through a lens of pluralism… the theological
foundations of even the most faithful young believers seem, in some crucial
ways, shaky or unreliable.” Youth are prone to follow role models in areas
of our culture plagued by drug abuse, materialism, broken relationships, and
self-focus. It is no wonder that the youth of today often find themselves
without a moral compass.
Help us empower the next generation by coming to the Christian Youth Summit and encourage others to come as well.
