Mission:
Equip Christian young adults and parents in a solid biblical worldview and empower them to be leaders in transforming our culture for Christ.
Target audience:
Christian young adults Jr. High - College.
Parents encouraged to attend parent track.
Motivation:
• We are losing our youth at a higher rate than ever before in our nation’s history. The Barna Group has found that only 5% of Christian teenagers and 19% of Christian adults have a biblical worldview.
• The Council on Family Life did a study in 2002 revealing that 88% of children raised in evangelical homes leave church at the age of 18 and do not return.
Summit Description:
• April 27-28, Friday Evening (6-8:30 PM) & Saturday (9-5:30)
• Worship Concert Friday evening, 9 – 10 PM
• Key Note Speakers: Prof. Craig Hazen (BIOLA) & Brett Kunkle (Stand to Reason)
• Topics include: worldviews, apologetics, purity, discipleship
• Ministry fair with Christian ministries doing work in biblical worldview equipping, evangelism, discipleship, prayer & intercession, justice
