Biblical Worldview Family Camp

August 17 – 22, 2021, at Wilderness Lakes Retreat Christian Camp (just a few miles north of Suttle Lake/Hwy 20)

Families of all sizes and ages are welcome. No childcare will be provided so parents will be responsible for their kids at all times (we’ll have designated play areas for kids).

Biblical worldview equipping for the whole family while enjoying a sweet time in God’s glorious creation here in Central Oregon. Comprehensive Biblical worldview teaching. Fellowship. Worship music. Devotionals. Organized activities. Free time. Hikes. Amazing views. Kayaking. Paddle Boarding. Swimming. Games.

Camp Details:

  • Google Map of Wilderness Lakes Retreat in Central Oregon. Just northwest of Hwy 20 near Suttle Lake.
  • Check-in Tuesday August 17, 3pm. Clean up (everyone required to clean) and check-out August 22, 11am.
  • Food (we don’t have a food coordinator yet) will likely be simple breakfast and lunch supplies made available and dinner will be bring your own. If you have particular food preferences, you would need to bring those. There is plenty of pantry, fridge/freezer space available.
  • Daily Schedule (Wed to Sat):
    • 7:30 Breakfast
    • 8:00 Individual time with the Lord (includes teaching early in the week on basic Bible study, exegesis vs eisegesis)
    • 8:30 Family Devotional (includes examples of how families do this and a variety of ways to implement)
    • 9:00 Break
    • 9:30 Biblical worldview teaching and discussion (Topics will include: Stumbling Blocks in Our Culture, What is Apologetics?, Reliability of the Bible, What’s a Worldview?, Biblical Worldview vs Others, History, Science and Christianity, Sexuality, Identity, Discipleship, Calling, Influencing Culture with the Gospel, and more)
    • 10:30 Free time
    • Noon: Lunch
    • 1:00 Activity (A variety of outdoor activities with the intent to highlight a Biblical teaching from the day)
    • 2:30 Free time
    • 5:30 Dinner
    • 6:30 Ministry highlight (Hear from a variety of missionaries, church planters, evangelists, and teachers on a variety of topics)
    • 7:00 Biblical worldview teaching and discussion (Topics will include: Stumbling Blocks in Our Culture, What is Apologetics?, Reliability of the Bible, What’s a Worldview?, Biblical Worldview vs Others, History, Science and Christianity, Sexuality, Identity, Discipleship, Calling, Influencing Culture with the Gospel, and more)
    • 9:00 Activities (A variety of fun organized activities to hang out and get to know each other)
    • 10:30 Quiet Time/Lights Out 10:45
