Registration is live and available to all who want to join us for this in-person event. Registration is free and required to attend (click here).

Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. In addition to his role as Associate Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, Sean travels throughout the United States and abroad, speaking at camps, churches, schools, universities, and conferences. Sean is the co-host for the Think Biblically podcast, which is one of the most popular podcasts on faith and cultural engagement. He has written, co-written, or edited more than twenty books.

We are excited for Sean to present these talks at the Summit:

The Case for the New Testament  (Friday night)

Sean presents the historical evidence for how accurately the New Testament has been preserved through history. Even though publicized opinions often claim there is reason for skepticism, recent findings actually strengthen the case for the reliability and trustworthiness of the Scriptures. Sean presents the three main lines of evidence from within the Bible, the transmission of ancient documents, and from archaeology outside the Bible.

Chasing Love (Saturday morning)

Love that the world tells us to pursue is all about self, about following your heart’s desires. But what is the Christian worldview on love? When we follow Jesus, we realize that he invites us to reorient the focus of our lives, so instead of chasing love primarily for our own happiness, we are first and foremost to give love—to God and to others. In this session Sean will invite the audience into Jesus’ radical, upside-down approach to love, and in doing so, he’ll answer some of the toughest questions we’re asking about love today: How does Jesus speak to singleness? What does the gospel say about LGBTQ issues? Can sexual sin truly be forgiven?

Standing Strong for the Faith – Daniel 1 (Saturday afternoon)

What does it mean to stand strong as a Christian in our culture that is increasingly antagonistic to Christian beliefs? Sean shares some powerful insights from the life of Daniel that apply specifically to young people today in school, with their friends, and online.

We hope you can join us for the upcoming Christian Youth Summit. Please remember to register before it fills up. Registration is live and available to all who want to join us for this in-person event. Registration is free and required to attend (click here).

We are also in need of Christian Youth Summit sponsors and donors to continue the tradition of making the Summit free. If you would like to invest helping the next generation stand firm in their faith with a gift, please donate here.
