We are very excited for our internationally-known keynote speaker, Dr. Sean McDowell, who has been extremely popular with both youth and parents. Sean is a prolific author, apologetics expert, and a professor at Biola University. www.SeanMcDowell.org

Registration is live and available to all who want to join us for this in-person event. Registration is free and required to attend (click here).

Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. In addition to his role as Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, Sean travels throughout the United States and abroad, speaking at camps, churches, schools, universities, and conferences. Sean is the co-host for the Think Biblically podcast, which is one of the most popular podcasts on faith and cultural engagement. He has written, co-written, or edited more than twenty books.

We are excited for Sean to present these talks at the Summit:

The Case for the New Testament  (Friday night)

Sean presents the historical evidence for how accurately the New Testament has been preserved through history. Even though publicized opinions often claim there is reason for skepticism, recent findings actually strengthen the case for the reliability and trustworthiness of the Scriptures. Sean presents the three main lines of evidence from within the Bible, the transmission of ancient documents, and from archaeology outside the Bible.

If God Why Evil? (Saturday morning)

The problem of evil and suffering is undoubtedly one of the greatest challenges raised against God. Christians must respond empathetically, but also with truth. Sean begins this session by providing a helpful road map for personally helping people who are suffering. He then tackles the intellectual challenge of evil, showing that the existence of evil itself is actually a positive proof for the existence of God, and that the so-called “problem of evil” does not pose a problem for the Christian faith.

Using Technology Wisely (Saturday afternoon)

How can we think biblically about smartphones and social media? In this session, we will look at how smartphones affect our relationships, how we think, and how to develop good technology habits.

We hope you can join us for the upcoming Christian Youth Summit. Please remember to register. Registration is free and required to attend (click here).

We are also in need of Christian Youth Summit sponsors and donors to continue the tradition of making the Summit free. If you would like to invest helping the next generation stand firm in their faith with a gift, please donate here.
