Parents: 4 Reasons to Attend the Youth Summit

Why should parents attend the Christian Youth Summit? Here are four critical reasons:

1) Keep important dialogue about faith going long after the Summit! If you attend the Summit, you will have a shared experience with your child that can bear fruit long after the weekend has passed. So many parents have expressed to us that they are glad they carved out time to attend. By hearing some of the talks, they can better engage in dialogue.

2) We have breakout sessions just for you! See below for “parent track” breakouts.

3) Engage the worldview battle with your kids, don’t watch from the sidelines. Teens are bombarded by a worldview battle almost every day. Do you have answers for the tough questions of the faith? The more solid you are in your worldview, the better you can teach your kids. The Christian Research Institute says this, “Parents must embrace the fact that…their faith is essential for a successful handoff.”

4) You don’t need to commit to the whole weekend. See the schedule below and come to what works for your schedule. But you DO need to register, even if you are only coming to part of the Summit. Just click on this link to register.

Registration is free and required to attend. Just click the Eventbrite button on our web page.
