These Ministries are Here for You
Following a phenomenal Christian Youth Summit, with over 500 attendees representing nearly 100 churches across the Pacific Northwest, we wanted to list some Christian ministries with opportunities to connect and grow with other believers.
Pastor Stephen Williams gave a closing encouragement at the Summit to be plugged in with other solid Christians who would “wrestle in prayer for you.” Prepare The Way is one resource that wants to help, but there are a plethora of ministries, communities, and areas of service for kids and adults to be a part of. We’re taking a moment to highlight some of these ministries, many of which are local to Central Oregon, to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ and offer a way for you to be discipled or serve your community. These are just a few of them:
Prepare the Way Ministries
Prepare the Way empowers Christians with the knowledge and support they need to uphold a Biblical worldview in an increasingly secular society. We partner with churches in equipping Christians through a variety of presentations for both adult and youth audiences that provide practical guidance in transforming our culture for Christ. Summit Ministries
Summit’s mission is to cultivate rising generations to resolutely champion a biblical worldview. Their programming consists of two-week conferences for 16-25 year olds in four locations across the U.S. They also offer semester-long programs for collegiate-level students. Their publishing division offers resources for Christian schools, home school, and churches. Alumni in their programs are networked around the world with the aim of driving impact in their communities.
Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch
Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch exists to provide a safe and positive experience for children and families to learn about the saving hope of Jesus Christ in an authentic western environment.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives…one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.
Community Bible Study
CBS love seeing what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word. They have Bible studies for all age groups and stages of life, from classes for toddlers and teens to classes for adults who are single and married. Together, CBS explores the Bible and what it tells us about the God who has woven a story through history and is present with us now.
AWANA
Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. How does Awana fulfill this mission? Through God’s guidance and power, Awana strives to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world.
Child Evangelism Fellowship
Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local church for Christian living.
Cru Ministries

InterVarsity
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is a vibrant campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty. The Purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is to establish and advance at colleges and universities witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes in the world.
Ratio Christi
Ratio Christi (Latin for ‘The Reason of Christ’) is a global movement that equips university students and faculty to give historical, philosophical, and scientific reasons for following Jesus Christ.
