American Heritage Girls Info/Planning Meeting (Bend, OR)
We had a great planning and vision meeting:
We met to cast vision and plan for the 2021-2022 troop year for Prepare the Way’s AHG Troop OR3131 in Bend! Contact Us to get involved.
American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.
We feel AHG is needed now more than ever, to help girls grow in faith and character alongside friends and mentors. There is so much deception in our culture these days and girls need Christ-centered community and support. Did you know research shows that teens who have 5 positive Christian adult role models in their lives actually stick with their faith at a much higher rate?
At the meeting, we will have a short overview of what AHG is about (we may end up with a wait list this year so the earlier people plug in the better).
We will also go over some of the great ways parents can get involved. We are excited about next year, but we do need your help. Our troop is run as a co-op and there are important roles to fill, both large and small, to be able to have the troop run. It is such a blessing to pour into these girls’ lives.
