Announcing Shawn Hart’s and Stephen Williams’ Keynote Speaking Topics for the 2026 Christian Youth Summit

The 19th annual Christian Youth Summit is quickly approaching on April 10-11 in Bend, Oregon! Our keynote speakers will be Brett Kunkle, Shawn Hart, and Stephen Williams. We are very excited to host for the first time Shawn Hart, President of the Ambassadors Forum, a popular apologetics and worldview ministry based in the Portland area. Registration is live and required to attend (click here) – do it now in case it fills up! We do have limited space.

Our keynote speakers (click here for bios) will tackle crucial topics this year that will help students, parents and ministry leaders stand firm in their Christian faith and worldview. Check out Shawn and Stephen’s keynote talks below. See our previous blog for Brett Kunkle’s keynote topics. Research shows that youth who have walked away from their faith had confusion about the subjects that we will cover at the Christian Youth Summit. Research also shows that young people wish the church would discuss tough questions more openly. We will be announcing our breakout speakers and topics soon.

Longing for Justice in an Unjust World

We live in a time when hearing stories of injustice are as common as the air we breathe. We cannot turn on the news or browse any of our social media feeds without being bombarded by the fact that we exist in a world that is full of injustice. Just as injustice is a common experience for all of us, our longing for things to be made right unites us, regardless of our worldview. Where does this longing for justice come from? What is Biblical justice? How does the Christian worldview deal with injustice differently than other worldviews? In this talk we will look at these questions in light of the Gospel, as we seek to better understand what Christ accomplished through his death on the cross.

Stephen Williams’ Keynote Talk

The Reliability of the Bible

Most Christians do not know how to respond to the question, “Is the Bible reliable?” This question was a key stumbling block for Stephen before he accepted Christ and realized how much evidence there really is for the Bible. In this talk, Stephen describes the three key areas that make the Bible the most reliable document in all of antiquity. First, Bibliographic/Manuscript Evidence: There is more manuscript evidence for the Bible than any other book of antiquity. Second, External Evidence for Christianity: The Scriptures are historically and archaeologically accurate. Third, Internal Evidence: The authors of the Bible were eyewitnesses who were detailed and accurate. Answering this question accurately is the foundation for all other worldview topics.
